EDUCATION
DIRECTOR, POSTDOCTORAL TRAINING

In this high impact role, candidate will provide leadership for the Division of Postdoctoal Training in implementation of the work of the Council on Postdoctoral Training. The qualified candidate should have a Doctorate or Masters in Education with 5 or more years of experience in Postdoctoral Education or education regulatory work.

AOIA
WEB MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS

Responsible for the management and strategic planning of AOIA websites and other electronic communications. Manage end-user Web projects to ensure they meet user needs and site objectives. Establish and enforce electronic communication guidelines and policy. Coordinate with overall marketing and communications efforts. Serves as communication liaison between AOA staff, and IT staff or vendors as needed. The qualified candidate should have a Bachelors Degree in Communications or related field required and a minimum 10 years professional experience managing websites.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

Provides systems analysis and programming for database operation and information usage. Responsible for the administration of the AOA’s Association Management Software (iMIS). Specifies and implements system-level changes as well as design. Develops new IT solutions as well as re-engineers antiquated paper processes. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and 5-10 years experience.

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL AFFAIRS
DIRECTOR

In this senior staff position, the Director will direct the operations and administration of the Division of Board & House Relations as well as the Division of Meetings and Convention Services. The Director will also provide leadership in development of all programs administered through the department. The qualified candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years experience.
