The DO Advocacy Action Center provides DOs, students, and the osteopathic community with a central location to learn about the AOA’s key legislative priorities, tracks bill votes and cosponsorships, and provides a means for contacting federal and state legislators on key health care issues via email or fax.
How the DO Advocacy Action Center Works
Upon entering the DO Advocacy Action Center, users will be presented with ‘Advocacy Alerts’ on key federal and state issues requiring action by the osteopathic community. Users, after entering their zip code, will be matched automatically with their federal or state legislators. Participants will then be directed to a sample letter on the issue needing action. After entering your name and address and clicking the ‘send’ button your message is sent to Congress or the state legislature.
