AOSED
AOSED was organized in 1918 for the purpose of strengthening AOA-affiliated
state divisional societies, promoting coordination of divisional society programs,
providing assistance for the development of divisional society leadership,
and aiding with efforts of the AOA in the advancement of the osteopathic profession
in the United States.
Affiliate Affairs
The Division of Affiliate Affairs supports the development of divisional and
specialty affiliates. The division also offers leadership development, membership
marketing, operations management and strategic planning.
OPAN
Through the Osteopathic Public Awareness Network (OPAN), affiliate groups can
collaborate on public outreach and media relations projects and receive mentoring
from AOA public relations staff on new and existing public outreach and media
relations programs in their area.
OPTI Clearinghouse
The Education Center and OPTI Clearinghouse is designed as an electronic resource
center – one place to obtain information on osteopathic medical education.
